Byres Water is our latest addition to the accommodation available here at Tanhouse Farm. Converted from a traditional open fronted cattle shelter it offers a more contemporary style of decoration from our other cottages, sleeping up to 8 people in 2 doubles and 2 twin bedrooms. The kitchen, dining and lounge merge to create an open plan space which can open out onto the patio with lovely views across a 11/2 acre unfenced lake. With total grounds and orchard of about 31/2 acres it offers a private and peaceful place to relax and unwind.
There is a 25% discount on weekly rates for four persons or less staying at Byres Water - this has to be booked by emailing the owner directly .
Accommodation provides: -
Private driveway with parking and turning area for five cars.
The Front Door leads into the Entrance Hall, with a doorway to cloakroom also washing machine and tumble dryer.
Turning left from the entrance hall leads into the open plan lounge, dining area and kitchen, with beautiful views across the lake.
LOUNGE – two large sofas to seat eight with 42 inch LCD TV with surround sound and DVD recorder
DINING – ash and elm dining table to seat eight, french doors lead onto patio equipped with outdoor table and chairs.
KITCHEN - fully equipped with oven, combination oven, induction hob, dishwasher and American style fridge/freezer. French door to the driveway.
Turning right from the entrance hall leads you to the bedrooms and bathrooms.
MASTER BEDROOM WITH Ensuite Bathroom – superking leather sleigh bed, bedside cabinets, wardrobes, chest of drawers and hairdryer.
Ensuite Bathroom – bath, separate shower, basin, WC and shaver point.
2ND BEDROOM – king-size bed, wardrobes, bedside cabinets and hairdryer.
3RD BEDROOM – twin leather beds, wardrobe and bedside cabinets
4TH BEDROOM – Twin beds, wardrobe, bedside cabinet and chest of drawers.
FAMILY BATHROOM – Large shower, luxurious freestanding double ended bath,
basin, WC and shaver point.
All heating, electricity, linen and towels are included. Telephone located in the lounge with calls charged at cost. Please note the lake at Byres Water is unfenced please ensure that any children in your party are supervised at all times.
The cottages are ideally situated for viewing the Severn Bore and touring the Cotswolds, Slimbridge, Westonbirt Arboretum and Gloucester also an excellent base for walking or cycling beside the Gloucester/Sharpness canal and this peaceful part of the Severn vale.
