Church Farm Cottage is a tastefully furnished and very well equipped. It has views over countryside and has been renovated to a high standard. The cottage is set in the 5 acre grounds of Church Farm House, in the rural village of Stainton by Langworth. Secluded and private, the cottage is surrounded by in its own enclosed garden and accessed via its own driveway.
The cottage is warm and cosy in winter, with full oil fired central heating, it is double glazed and has additional heat from the woodburning stove,
Designed by an archictect, the cottage has 3 double bedrooms ( 1 with a king-size bed and 2 with twin beds) plus a delightful baby's nursery bedroom. There is a family bathroom with a bath,basin and WC. On the ground floor a shower/wet-room, along with a separate cloakroom with a 2nd W.C. The cosy sitting room has has a squashy leather suite, 2 high back arm chairs and a wood burning stove. There are french windows leading out to the garden. The superb kitchen diner will host many memorable family meals.
We want you to have a great time at our cottage and lots of home from home luxuries are provided, including quality bed linen and towels, DVD, video and free view TV, Hi Fi,Wi Fi and Dishwasher. A selection of films, books, magazines and board games are availble for you to enjoy. We can also provide quailty bicycles (small charge) for children and adults to explore the local area. The garden has furniture and a gas barbeque.
The cottage is only 6 miles easy drive from the lovely Cathedral city of Lincoln. A really picturesque city, with its fantastic Gothic Cathedral, Medieval Castle, cobbled streets, Roman museum, Victorian theatre, independant shops and restaurants.The nearby Lincolnshire Wolds have lovely scenery, pretty villages and Market towns to explore. The Lincolnshire Coast with its unspoilt beaches, as well as lively seaside resorts, is within 35 miles.
The local area is a haven for wildlife, Barn Owls nest in a tree on our paddock. Experience a slower pace of life,with cleaner air. Collect fresh eggs from our chickens! There are a wealth of local footpaths and bridleways (you can even bring your own horse!) allowing you to walk right from the front door. There are walks around the owner's 30 acres of woodland and wildflower meadow situated nearby. Up to 2 very well behaved dogs can stay at the cottage. (£10 each dog to be paid to the owner).
The cottage is great for a family holiday, children are very welcome, or it is fab as a romantic retreat for two. A warm welcome, awaits your arrival Church Farm Cottage. Many of our guests return again and again!
