The Granary is a converted barn in the quiet hamlet of Engollan, 3/4 mile from the coast and breathtaking Bedruthan Steps, close to beaches of Portcothan, Morgan Porth and Watergate Bay. Padstow and Newquay are 6 miles away, Eden Project reached in 40 minutes.
The property benefits from new carpets and floor coverings throughout, for the 2011 season.
It is comfortably furnished and oil fired centrally heated (included in price. ) The Granary offers three ground floor bedrooms, and bathroom, whilst upstairs, there is a lounge with modern woodburner and well equipped kitchen-diner.
Access to The Granary is up a flight of stone steps to the first floor front door, which leads straight into the lounge area. This area is comfortably furnished with 2 large sofas, a modern woodburner, flat screen digital TV and DVD player.
There is a separate well equipped kitchen/dining room, comprising an electric hob/oven, combination microwave/oven, fridge, freezer, dishwasher, washing-machine and a table to seat 6 people.
On the ground floor: This property offers three bedrooms; two double bedrooms and a single bedroom (there is an optional additional pull-out single bed in the single room suitable for a child up to age 14 years). Bed linen is provided, again included in the price. Each bedroom has bedside cupboards, and a wardrobe, and they have ample room for a travel cot if required (which is also supplied, NB.please bring own cot linen).
There is a family bathroom with an electric shower over the bath, and toilet, also on the ground floor.
Bedlinen and tea-towels are provided. Please bring own cot linen, batroom towels and beach towels.
There is an enclosed garden, with table, chairs and BBQ.
The Granary is a child-friendly enviroment with stair gates available to install at the top and bottom of the stairs, a booster seat for the dining table chair, and travel cot.
Off road parking for two cars.
