2 Cottages – Both self catering units are situated on the owners’ property, Abbots Way, which is set in a unique, quiet location some distance from the road to the East of Worth Matravers village. The property is situated about 400 feet above sea level with uninterrupted views over National Trust land to the sea at Seacombe Bay (a 15-20 min walk). From the stile near the house the Priest’s Way footpath leads to the seaside town and blue flag beaches of Swanage and to the walks down to the South West Coast Path and the sea.
The Studio is a separate, comfortably appointed, self contained wing of the main house. It offers 1 double bedroom, lounge/dining room with countryside views and sea glimpses. Separate kitchen and shower room. Large garden with sea views, table, chairs and sunlounger. Well behaved dogs welcome, note livestock grazing in adjacent fields.
Worth Matravers is a pretty Purbeck stone village located about 4 miles South of Corfe Castle and 3 miles West of Swanage, set in an area of outstanding natural beauty and overlooking the World Heritage stretch of coastline. The area is popular with walkers, nature lovers, fishermen and cyclists. Worth Matravers has an unspoilt popular pub called the Square & Compass, a 5 minute walk from the property.
