| This comfortable first floor apartment is adjacent to the Gloucestershire-Sharpness canal, on the edge of Slimbridge village, a few minutes from the wildfowl and wetlands trust, founded by Sir Peter Scott. It is convenient for Cheltenham Gloucester, Bristol and Bath with their tourist attractions, museums, shops and theatres. Also Berkeley Castle nearby. Walks by the canal (and boat and bike hire) and River Severn (with its famous Severn Bore) and in the Cotswold Hills around Stroud and Nailsworth, and in the Forest of Dean. There’s a pub opposite and a shop at the boat yard next door. Sleeps two in double/twin with a sofa bed for occasional extra beds. Clean dogs accepted by arrangement (please telephone the owner to arrange). |
