| This light and spacious chalet - recently entirely rebuilt and greatly enlarged - stands in a secluded corner of one Cornwall's most beautiful and unspoiled areas, the Roseland Peninsula, bordered on one side by the "Carrick Roads" (a paradise for sailors!), and on the other by the English Channel.
Set amongst grass and trees, with spectacular views over rolling countryside (and seascapes too, provided you bring stilts!) the chalet is 300 metres from a wonderful and never-crowded beach, while 50 metres in the opposite direction - through our own little wood - lie a picture-book creek and its winding estuary.
With its sunset verandah and fall-asleep sofas, its woodburning stove and triple-aspect picture windows, its 2 bathrooms and well-equipped kitchen, the chalet is a perfect hideaway - and yet lies within easy reach of countless attractions, from the Eden Project and the Tate Gallery, to cosy country pubs or the famous little church at St Just-in-Roseland.
