| Small but surprisingly accommodating and cosy cottage nestled into the cliff directly over the surf beach at Portreath. Spectacular, uninterrupted views of beach, harbour, headlands. Private peaceful setting.
Coast path at end of road. Many other walks and golf nearby. Best of all - a minute's walk down to the surf, sand, caves and coves. Good surf and active surf lifesaving club.
Portreath is half-way between Newquay and St Ives, only 20-30 minutes from each, a few miles from the A30, rail station and all the facilities of Redruth. Portreath itself is a very friendly community of young families and retired people, with basic shops, three pubs and an excellent restaurant (Tabbs). Alive marine heritage with charming harbour. |
