| With a large lawn garden at the front, Lambside House has 5 bedrooms and 3 bathrooms. Downstairs - large kitchen/dining room with Aga plus electric hob and oven. Two large living rooms opening off a wide, flag-stoned hallway, 1 with TV/Video & DVD. There's also a playroom with daybed and pull-out bed under and table football. Upstairs - master bedroom with king-sized bed, ensuite bathroom and fold-out child's bed; a double bedroom, 2 twin rooms (1 ensuite) and a room with a single bed and bunk beds. Family bathroom with shower over. Sorry, no dogs allowed at Lambside House. Please note: This property is a FRIDAY start. Cot and highchair available. With additional day beds this property can sleep 14 people in total. |
| Cottages - We are organic dairy farmers on the South Devon coast and have four holiday cottages on the farm which are all within easy walking distance of the coastal path and a lovely beach. The vast empty wilderness of Dartmoor is also within sight and is a paradise for walkers, cyclists and horse riders.
Our cottages have rural views and secluded gardens, central heating and log fires. Kitchens are well equipped with all mod cons and we supply fresh milk from our cows when you arrive! We even stock up the freezer with a supply of our organic Well Hung Meat Company organic beef and lamb from the farm - just help yourself and leave the money in the honesty box.
There are beautiful beaches nearby such as Mothecombe Beach which has acres of sand at low tide. Dartmoor and the beaches are just as spectacular in winter, when they provide exhilarating moorland rides or dramatic coastal walks.
There are a number of good restaurants and traditional pubs nearby, particularly in the pretty village of Holbeton, or in Newton Ferrers and Noss Mayo which nestle either side of the Yealm estuary just over a mile away. What ever the weather, there is always plenty to do.
