| South Beer is a typical, large Victorian farmhouse with spacious rooms and high ceilings, providing comfortable accommodation for up to 10 people. High quality furnishings throughout and many original features, plus every modern convenience make for a relaxing holiday any time of year.
The house is ideally located, for beach or moors, half a mile off the main road up a private track in its own half acre of south-facing garden with mature shrubs, lawns and wildlife visitors.
Guests have views over and access to 45 acres of mixed ancient pasture and woodland with traditional Devon banks, stream and ponds. A sanctuary for a variety of wildlife from dragonflies to owls, bats to badgers, snowdrops in January to orchids in July.
Only weekly bookings accepted over the Christmas and New Year period. During the 2007 Easter holidays a minimum 4 night booking is required |
