| Cow Castle Cottage is within the grounds of our family home, a charming period farmhouse set in a wooded valley in 66 acres of rolling Devon countryside located on the southern fringes of Exmoor.
Ideally situated for exploring the Devon countryside. Guests have complete freedom to explore the farmland and our 35 acres of woodland bordered by the Crooked Oak river and may see deer, foxes, buzzards, badgers, and pheasants.
The cottage offers an open plan living area with a large wood burning stove which runs the central heating. There is access onto the timber deck at the rear and side with a private garden and shared use of the courtyard. The rear garden and deck get the morning and afternoon sun and the courtyard is perfect for enjoying a sun-downer
It is an easy drive to the North Devon beaches. The area offers tremendous opportunities for walking, touring, riding, golf, fishing, bird watching, and wildlife observation. It is an excellent centre for short breaks for touring/walking Exmoor, mid Devon and the Devon coast with easy access to Exeter, Rosemoor Gardens, Dartmoor and other attractions.
