| A listed stone cottage at the seaward end of a short terrace, built in 1862, 50 yards from famous Chesil Beach. Ideal base for two couples. Well situated for lovely walks, bird watching, sailing and other water sports in the harbour, beach fishing, Chesil Cove is a well known dive site, or just a chance to relax and watch the gulls go by. Portland is wonderful in spring and summer and our wood burning stove ensures comfortable evenings in autumn and winter.
The cottage has a large walled and gated yard for sunbathing/parking if necessary (usually available close by) /small boat storage Portland has many restaurants and take-aways and our local pub has great views across Lyme Bay. |
