| This delightful terraced cottage, was built in traditional Cumbrian style in 1872. It is a grade II listed building and is in the heart of Appleby.
Apple-in-Westmorland is a bustling market town with a rich history. It is nationally famous for its annual Horse Fair. The picture book railway station is on the renowned Settle to Carlisle railway.
Around the corner from the cottage are the local swimming pool and gym. There is fishing on the river Eden and a golf course 3 miles away. The local shops, pubs, tea rooms and 'take-aways' are just two minutes walk away. Further afield - to the east are the Pennines; westwards, the Lake District is just 20 mins drive along the A66.
The cottage is equipped to a high standard, as befits its four star rating and is cleaned by our local housekeeper.
Having full gas central heating it makes a cosy retreat in the winter months. The combination boiler provides unlimited hot water for baths and showers.
In addition to the usual cottage courtyard there is a secluded back garden- with summerhouse. |
