Privacy and tranquility are in abundance from dusk to dawn, where open views stretching forth across river and fields are interrupted only by the occasional flapping of wings from the river's resident swans! Yet it is only 75 metres from the shops, bars and coffee shops, and 5 minutes walk to fine white sandy beaches, which stretch to Alnmouth and Amble. From the front door, a path leads along the river bank.
