| Jane Ann's Cottage is a delightful southfacing, modernised old estate cottage in the lovely hamlet of Simonstone. The cottage is situated just under 2 miles from the town of Hawes, which is the highest market town in England.
It also offers panoramic views over the valley, Stags Fell and the spectacular Buttertubs Pass. Within walking distance is the famous Hardrow Scaur, which falls 100ft and is the highest waterfall in England.
The area abounds with places of interest, Bolton Castle, folk museums and the Settle-Carlisle railway to name but a few. The area is ideal for touring, walking and fishing and there are several inns and pubs nearby which serve excellent food and refreshment. |
