From the cottage there are stunning views over Wensleydale.

The cottage provides an good base for exploring the excellent surrounding countryside. Ideal for walking, cycle paths and there is a steam line locally.
It is close to the Coast to Coast footpath and the Pennine Way. There are plenty of local castles, abbeys and the unique "Forbidden Corner". There is easy access to the northern cities, such as Durham, Leeds, Newcastle and York all within day's visit. |
